DJ Tocom Rubber Settles Lower; Finds Firm Support at Y200/Kg -- Market Talk
Tocom rubber futures settle 2.1% lower amid the lack of positive factors and as Shanghai rubber is also lower; prices however have found firm support at the key psychological level of Y200/kg after recent declines. A Singapore-based analyst says rubber prices may see little upside even if an El Nino weather phenomenon occurs later this year as there still may not be enough demand to absorb the glut from a supply surplus this year.
