DJ Tocom Rubber Settles Higher on Weaker Yen, China PMI -- Market Talk
Tocom rubber futures settle 0.5% higher in slow trade amid the lack of strong cues, with support coming from a weaker yen and a recovery in China's May manufacturing activity, data shows Thursday. IRCo Chief Executive Yium Tavarolit says in a note this week that the organization is "working closely" with Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia to evaluate current market developments and will "implement appropriate measures if and when necessary."
